Brawl revisited again

A couple years ago, I blogged about Brawl+, a homebrew that alters Super Smash Bro. Brawl to be closer to Melee. We messed with it a little, but at that point, we had already stopped playing Brawl and the changes weren’t close enough to Melee to spark our interest again.

It seems there’s another project that aims to bring Brawl closer to Melee: Project M. In addition to changing some mechanics of the game… it seems to bring back some stages as well? A demo just got released though we haven’t tried it yet. I also didn’t hear about this until recently, so I don’t know much about it. It looks interesting though.

    what about Blogging rule #1?
My mind has been trown to a blender.
Talking about hacks, did you see that amazing Mario Kart Wii custom track hack?
Makes me wish I could play it online. Theres some pretty amazing stuff hackers do.

Homebrews can actually be legal depending on their use =) Unless a homebrew helps you bootleg, it’s not the same as bootlegging. Even Project M says it only works with a legit copy of Brawl.

Oh how I miss the N64 stages of Mario Kart! I think they were better than the Wii ones.

Just browsed the site a little and sounds awesome. I’ll likely try this once a full version is released.

VERY pleased to see that they got it to somehow work on an unhacked Wii. 🙂

I tried the demo last night! (Going to have another entry about it later today.) I was really happy I didn’t have to hack my Wii for it too XD
