Guess who’s getting the new Nintendo store?

Melbourne, Australia.

Wait, what? I live in Melbourne!

Going to be located on Swanston Street, wait that’s like a two minute walk from my university campus!

According to these two links (1 and 2), the next Nintendo store will be opening in Melbourne, above an EB Games.

Now I’ve been to said EB Games, it’s quite a new store actually, only recently opened, I had wondered what they had planned for the second floor. Thing is I wonder if this is going to be some joint venture with EB Games? I mean to get to the second floor the staircase is smack bang right in the middle of the EB Games store itself. If not they’ll both be vying for (Nintendo) customers, direct competition well how much more direct can you possibly get?!

I doubt it’ll be anywhere as awesome as the New York City one (I’m making the assumption that one is fantastic) but it’s nice to know Nintendo of Australia cares. Well I guess I know where I’ll be heading to in my breaks between classes.

A Soul-Possessing Game

This game is going to kill me.

It’s amazing how such an unexpected game came to take over my life! I mean, seriously! It’s such a girly game, a game I’d never would have bothered, but . . . I need to complete the game by getting all the endings and accessories! Augh!

Hopefully, after that game’s over with, I can focus more on this game instead.

Less than a month left for Chrono Trigger DS! I pre-ordered my copy. Did you guys do it, too?

So awesome

My only complaint is that it’s too short. Miyamoto created way more than just those three, and all would have been fun to see. Talking head on Starfox for example?

mike’s wii game haul

I just recently bought a Wii, so I’ve been building up my Wii game library and this is my recent game haul. Oh yes I’m feeling poor, just a bit … no, my wallet is hurting.

Boom Blox is surprisingly fun especially multiplayer wise. I really like the Jenga-esque puzzles, not caring for the shooting gallery ones though. I need to get around to fiddling with the Create mode and make myself some Rube Goldberg machines.

Oh Mario Kart Wii has been frustrating, red shell, POW block, blue shell bang from first to last spot. But it’s been fun none the less. I three starred everything in the DS one (I still have nightmares doing a perfect DK Pass run without hitting the walls) but I don’t think I can be bothered with this one though, I don’t think I have the patience to aim for a perfect run. Just trying for one star it here. Working through 150CC at the moment.

I love the Wario Land games, the original Gameboy one would still be my all time favourite, so naturally I needed to get myself a copy of Wario Land The Shake Dimension. My goodness does it look absolutely gorgeous, shame it doesn’t really utilize wide screen. I’m on world three at the moment, just blitzing the levels which has been very easy, the main challenge is getting all the treasures and doing all the quests/mission, which I’ll come back to on my revisits. I’ve one hundred percented the other Wario Land games so I’m aiming to do that with The Shake Dimension.

Lego Batman I haven’t touched yet, that I just picked up yesterday, missed out on the key chain promotion though. I know it’s more of the same, but I love Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, to me this is a winning formula. Planning on getting a few friends over soon for a night of Lego Batman-ing because really the Traveller’s Tales Lego games are best played in co-op mode.
