I don’t feel the “Luck”.

Sorry folks! I have been cut from the internet for a while, but as of today I got connected again.

So, well, I’ve been playing (finally!) Fallout: New Vegas, im currently at level 12, I did a long play this past weekend, now I have more than 20 hours of gameplay time and have visited 3X/50 locations.
The dialogue is a damn good improvement over FO3, there are more interesting factions, even the companions seem to be more involved with your quest. The quests are as well an improvement, as they are more hard than before (which is good if you have the previous experience of FO3).
There are a lof of new items, completely new weapon mods and the characters are more interesting as well. Voice acting is not that great tho, but its ok, can deal with it.

However! I prefer FO3 over FO:NV, and there are a few reasons. First of all, the music. Sure, the Mojave desert should not sound more like the purest country music,¬† and the song selection itself is not bad. But I find the FO3 OST a lot more memorable than this second selection. Also, regarding the radio stations… I cant manage to understand a thing of what Mr. New Vegas is saying, seriously. He has a great golden voice, no doubt, but I guess my english is not good ennough to understand him. Another thing is *SPOILER START* after I got a radio station to shut down as part of a quest the songs were lost forever! Now its all just static, I know its obvious, but it would be a good thing to put those songs on the other stations to refill. I can lift the radio ban, but there were some hilarious but annoying super mutant conversations I don’t want to hear again. *SPOILER END*.

Sure, that does not make the game unplayable, just a little less enjoyable. But I still manage to get over it.

Theres one more reason, and that is: Its locations. Mojave desert just feels… plain. In FO3 we had a lot of buildings you can get into, lots of city streets, a lot more of houses and public locations like hospitals, schools, stores, police stations etc. We had a Fort, an underground city full of kids, a town made of junk, a mined town, a slavers town, a lot of vaults, a town settled within an aircraft carrier, you could visit the Jefferson memorial, the Lincoln memorial, FOUR museums, the Washington mall, the White House and even had a complete underground metro system!! GEEZ!! But… in FO:NV… you have some quiet towns, a city, a lot of camps (some medium sized, some pretty small, only a couple big ennough and they are not even THAT interesting), some bunkers and some vaults (wich are almost the same, really…), the Hoover Dam and of course… the most cool looking place in the entire game: New Vegas.

Really? That is all? As far as I have played… yup! Thats all folks… It sucks!!! I cant believe it, compared to the FO3, New Vega’s Mojave desert feels like a…

Like a desert.

But its kinda sad, I mean, they could have added fiver or six more things! I can’t even believe I have discovered more than half of the game’s locations, now what a letdown, and that is why I prefer FO3 over NV.

So in the end, if you dont have neither of those games but are planning to buy one, my suggestion is buy Fallout 3. It has a lot more of content, guaranteed!

Small Time Killers

No, seriously. I have not been able to play my main console games, not even my secondary ones.

I haven’t played Fallout: New Vegas and I love Fallout and its whole universe.

What the hell is going on?

Small Time Killers are going on.

Bloons Tower Defense 4 is a game that is freely available on the PC/Mac, made on Flash is the last one of the series so far.
I’ve a fan since the second one, and I played all the games when they were released. Recently I discovered there was an iPhone/iTouch version of Bloons TD 4, so I bought it (only 3 bucks) and just as I remembered, it’s a BLAST! I have been playing that game so much, I have gold medals on all the levels except for Advanced and Expert, those are so HARD, SO HARD!!! ARGHGGHG….!!!

Anyways, it’s a really good series, if you have the chance check it out, it’s free online, by NinjaKiwi.

Soooo… not only that, I have been trying reeeeeally hard NOT to play Minecraft, but I succumbed to its power two weeks ago. I play on the first free server, it’s not the full game, but I’m considering buying it, I think its a little bit expensive tho ($200+). I made some stuff, I’ll post it here, I’m still learning, so, yeah, whatever.

The background took me a while.

Pacman and Ghosts

Bleep Bloop. Puzzle.

Right you are professor!

Family Music Album Cover

Took me ages to finish this!

So yeah… damn Time Killers. Won’t let me play New Vegas.

3DS Thoughts

Well, although 3DS information and visuals have been around the interwebs for quite some time, today has been announced for NA and Europe (release date, price).

I think its a pretty cool handheld, I mean, sure, its alittle bit expensive, but seriously I never thought It would be cheapier. Also, how many consoles do you know that let you have portable 3D? I know, I know, It may sound a little too gimmicky, but, cmon… didnt they just said the same about the motion controls of the Wii, or the touch-based DS? They turned out to be the best systems of this generation. Well, maybe not the best SYSTEMS, but Im pretty sure they had the better games. I dont understand people. Really. They are all just saying “omgz lulz, its just a PSP with 3D lawl nabs”. But the truth is, Paper Mario, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, even the enhancement remakes like Ocarina of Time or Star Fox, cool 3rd party franchises like Metal Gear Solid, Street Figther or Resident Evil? Cmon people. Is really horsepower everything you look on a console?
What about the fun?

Well, im kinda pissed that people around the globe thinks like that. Its like “what happened to playing a fun game? Now you all just play to get frustrated because people online own you and then teabag you”.
I really like some Microsoft and Sony games. But I dont get the hate for Nintendo these days.

Anyways, I will really try to buy a 3DS on day 1, but its going to be difficult, I’ve been living on my own apartmen for some months now, my girlfriend has been staying too. If I dont get one, no problem, I know I will get one soon ennough.

What about you? Do you like the 3DS? What about its games? And how do you feel about comparing it to other known consoles on the market?

Just hoping this doesnt look too tl;dr… greets.

Hello NokoNoko!

Hi, i’m Mars, got invited to write in this blog yesterday (Thanks!).

I don’t want this to be a tl;dr post, so here I go.

I’ve been a gamer since I was a baby. My favorite consoles are the NES, SNES, PSX and DS, but I can play modern consoles too, mostly Xbox 360 (I still don’t own a PS3 T-T but plan to).

The games I have been playing are Fallout: New Vegas (I got it this christmas), Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, Cut the Rope and Raskulls, along with several Xbox Indie Games (wich I like a lot since they are mostly retro styled games). I also been playing DJ Max Portable 3, but the game has no ending… you just unlock the songs and stuff, so, whatever, it’s a great game!

Anyways, this January 1st I bought one of those yearly Live Gold subscriptions that sell on the stores, It came with a black headset and, oh wow, Worms (?) and Bankshot Billiards 2. Thank god, Worms. I was tired of getting Joust. Well, I already have Bankshot Billiards 2, so heres a code up for the grabs: D686T-GQTWM-QCH6Q-MG377-VT2CD. Free for anyone that likes Pool Games :D.

Well, that does it for now, see you guys!
